Fridays as needed when production requirements cannot be met Monday-Thursday Position Summary Seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist with experience operating and setting up Mori Seiki and Doosan CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint and GD&T knowledge, and the ability to inspect precision components and make machine adjustments to meet quality and production requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Mori Seiki and Doosan CNC machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements. Load programs, set tool offsets, adjust feeds and speeds, and make in-process corrections. Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Perform tool changes and monitor tooling condition. Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make appropriate adjustments. Maintain required dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, and overall part quality. Complete production and inspection documentation accurately. Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members. Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC machining equipment. Experience with Mori Seiki and/or Doosan CNC machines strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T. Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers. Knowledge of CNC tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and offsets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications CNC setup experience. Experience with CNC mills and/or turning centers. Familiarity with CNC programming and editing G-code. Experience machining tight-tolerance or complex components. Formal CNC machining training or technical certification. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and tooling as required. Ability to safely handle machining tools, materials, and equipment. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following required PPE and safety procedures.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
