CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist up to $23/ hr! Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our 1st shift operations, contributing to the precision and quality of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances. Utilize G+M code for machining operations. Assist in the design and operation of Solid Works, if capable. Contribute to shipping and receiving logistics, ensuring optimal transport methods for various goods. Operate computer systems for logistics and inventory management, including ground, air, and freight arrangements. Essential Skills Certified CNC Machinist with a background in CNC machining. Proficiency in operating CNC mills and lathes. Ability to work with tight tolerances of .0001. Familiarity with blueprint reading and machine setup. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Solid Works and design is highly desirable. Comfortable with Mazak machines and manual machining processes. Why Work Here? The team includes 2 planners, 1 water spouter, 2 inventory specialists, and 3 shipping/receiving staff, providing a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. The work schedule is typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with some potential for flexibility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunbury, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
