$18.70/hr Job Description A manufacturing company is seeking individuals to perform assigned labor-intensive tasks and run a metal stamping punch press to produce metal stampings within established run rate. This is a second shift position working 4:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate material, scrap removal, and product removal from line or other specific needs with Material Handler Report misses, hits, or problems to Production Supervisor and report labor times and part count to appropriate work order on-line router Perform safety and quality checks on equipment, tool readiness prior to use, and run a variety of equipment Complete Value Add/Secondary Operations, safety, within the priority determined on the Dispatch List, within specified run-time shown on work order router and attend to the equipment at all times of operation Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner to Production Supervisor Must have strong interpersonal skills to support working cooperatively with others to signal material handling needs of production lines, work cooperatively and have regard for others Must be computer savvy, able to communicate in English, and have strong follow-through skills Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Must be able to work independently while improving own learning and performance, focused effort on goals, work towards improvement Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, and wearing PPE while on the shop floor Must have own reliable transportation and a solid work history with no attendance issues Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
