• This role involves creating a structure to lead CNC machining operations.

You must be able to program, manage schedules, and perform setups. It requires regular communication and collaboration with the Fabrication Manager, Mechanical Engineering Department, and Director of Systems Operations and Maintenance. Your goal will be to grow our capacity to produce precision components for automated parking, docking, storage, and charging systems.

• Increase Production
• Perform material takeoffs and create Purchase Orders for the department
• Program, set up, and operate

HAAS CNC

mills, lathes, FADALs, EDMs, lasers and other machining equipment

• G-code, Inventor CAM, Makino software experience required
• Manage daily machining operations, prioritize tasks, and optimize workflow for efficiency and quality
• Work closely with engineering on design reviews, prototypes, production parts, and process improvements
• Must be able to read blueprints, GD&T, and specifications to ensure parts meet tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining issues, perform first-article inspections, and establish protocols to maintain quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement in machining processes to facilitate company growth
• Enforce and maintain OSHA compliance in department
• Create and maintain Quality Control Procedures
• Operate machines and perform normal machinist responsibilities Required Qualifications
• Must have extensive experience operating CNC and manual machines
• Must be computer literate, capable of creating and managing spreadsheets and schedules
• Must have extensive experience programming and operating CNC machines in a production environment
• Must possess great communication skills
• Must be completely proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, including GD&T
• Must have hands-on mechanical aptitude with attention to detail Preferred
• 2+ years Engineering, Technical or Similar Education
