Machinist -
CNC and Manual Equipment Job Type:
Full-time Shifts Available:
First and second shift We are seeking a dependable Machinist to produce and repair precision parts using CNC and manual machining equipment. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands machining fundamentals, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. What You'll Do You will set up and operate machining equipment, select the correct tooling, load materials, and adjust speeds and feeds based on part specifications. Throughout the machining process, you will inspect your work using precision measuring instruments to ensure every part meets print requirements. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment. Produce and repair precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and configurations. Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates. Perform machine setups, teardowns, and material loading. Monitor operations and adjust speeds and feeds as necessary. Inspect in-process and completed parts using micrometers and other precision measuring tools. Identify and correct issues that could affect part quality. Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow required procedures and meet production deadlines. Work overtime when needed to meet customer requirements. Must Have At least one year of CNC machining experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Understanding of shop mathematics. Knowledge of machining speeds and feeds. Experience using micrometers and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to complete machine setups and work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and dependable work habits. Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies. Nice to Have Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment. Experience machining or repairing large, complex, or custom parts. Familiarity with multiple types of mills, lathes, or related equipment. Previous experience working in a repair or job-shop environment.
