  • 45 p/h Position Overview A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3
  • 4• and 5-axis CNC machinery while producing precision components to tight tolerance requirements.
This position is suited to an experienced machinist who is comfortable independently setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC equipment, working from blueprints, selecting and changing tooling, and making machine adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machining equipment according to production requirements and shop schedules. Operate 3
  • 4• and 5-axis CNC machinery.
Make machine adjustments as required to maintain machining and tolerance requirements. Identify, select, and change appropriate tooling as needed. Machine components according to blueprint specifications and established quality standards. Produce precision components to tight tolerance requirements. Monitor machining processes and make adjustments when necessary. Follow internal quality standards and procedures. Contribute ideas and knowledge to improve machining processes and cycle times. Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding production progress, schedules, and quality. Assist with training and supporting less-experienced machining personnel when required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC machinery. Strong CNC machine setup and operating experience. Experience machining components to tight tolerance specifications. Ability to read and machine components according to blueprints. Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult shop math. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining production schedules. Understanding of applicable industry quality standards and requirements. Willingness to share knowledge and train less-experienced team members when needed. Technical training or schooling is preferred but not required. Must meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements for access to controlled technical information. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is more than a basic CNC machine operator. We are looking for someone who is comfortable setting up CNC machinery, making machine and tooling adjustments, working from blueprints, and consistently producing tight-tolerance components.
