The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate manual or CNC lathes while producing quality parts to specifications. Responsibilities of Lathe Operator Operate and set up lathe machines to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy. Perform basic machine adjustments and tooling changes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all safety and production procedures. Qualifications of Lathe Operator Previous lathe or machining experience preferred.
