Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and machine calibration will be essential in ensuring efficient production workflows. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision manufacturing, this is your opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and advance your career in CNC machining. Duties Set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as Fanuc controls to produce complex parts accurately. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and specifications. Utilize precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions and quality. Conduct machine calibration, tooling changes, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality output. Perform manual machining tasks when necessary using hand tools, grinders, lathes, or mills for finishing or troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards throughout all operations. Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, inspection reports, and machine maintenance logs. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and mills with Fanuc or similar control systems. Strong knowledge of CNC programming including G-code/M-code programming skills. Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings for manufacturing processes. Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or other design tools is a plus. Skilled in using precision measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and perform manual machining tasks when required. Knowledge of machining tools such as cutters, drills, grinders, and tooling setup procedures. Understanding of GD&T standards for precise measurement and quality control in manufacturing. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine settings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and lean manufacturing practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials or equipment safely using power tools or manual handling techniques.
