$26-$32/hr All Star Labor & Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Machinist II for a manufacturing company in the local area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who is confident working with manual machining equipment, understands precision measurements, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual lathes and mills Perform non-standard machining setups Perform single-point threading and other manual lathe operations Apply proper cutting fundamentals, including speeds, feeds, and blade selection Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Verify machined parts using inspection tools and gauges Perform basic quality control measurements and inspections Work with SolidWorks to manipulate 3D solid part files Utilize Mastercam software Follow all written/verbal work instructions and established safety procedures Perform additional production and machining duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3 years of manual machining experience preferred 2-year technical degree preferred Experience operating manual lathes and mills Proficiency with SolidWorks and Mastercam Strong understanding of machining measurements, tolerances, and inspection Must have your own machinist tools Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail, safety, quality, and teamwork

Physical Requirements:

This position is in a production/manufacturing environment and requires extended periods of standing, along with occasional walking, bending and stooping. Apply Today!
