Inc. Manufacturers, repairs and re-builds powder metal equipment is seeking a Machinists for 1st shift.
Essential Job Functions:
Create processing plans and select proper tooling for optimal machining results. Machine complex parts in job shop as well as production quantities Estimate and plan new projects and provide input on equipment needs Work independently and with team members to achieve goals and meet deadlines Recognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctions and troubleshoot problems to correct. If necessary, contact Team Lead for assistance Perform changes and minor adjustments of all basic tooling, progressing to be able to change and adjust all tooling in the machine Add coolant and lubrication to machine as necessary Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems Work with sales and engineering to complete projects CNC programming a plus Any other tasks or duty as required by supervisor
Qualifications:
5+ years running manual lathes, mills, and grinders Ability to complete your own set-ups Ability to read blueprints Capable of measuring parts using standard measurement equipment Good communication skills
