Job Description

Machinist 1 Machinist will work with specializing in Swiss-style Citizen CNC lathes. This team member will assist in operating and maintaining CNC Swiss machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Active prioritization of company mission, values, and culture Duties and Responsibilities Operate Citizen Swiss-type CNC machines under the guidance of senior machinists or supervisors.
Load raw materials and monitor the machine operation to ensure continuous production. Perform routine machine maintenance, including oiling, cleaning, and minor adjustments. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards. Deburr, clean, and package finished parts as required. Read and interpret blueprints and production work orders. Record production data and maintain accurate job tracking. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus. 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment, preferably with CNC equipment. Familiarity with basic measuring tools and mechanical drawings. Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a team-player attitude. Basic computer skills and the ability to read and understand work instructions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous exposure to Citizen or other Swiss-type CNC machines. Forklift certification or experience a plus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing setting. May be subject to the current local weather conditions.

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
