Job Description

CNC MachinistShifts available: All shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Compensation:
up to $40/hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components to specification. The role focuses on translating engineering drawings into accurate parts using G-Code, maintaining high quality and throughput, troubleshooting machine and program issues, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to continuously improve processes. Candidates must demonstrate strong experience in CNC Machining and G-Code. Experience with CNC Milling, Fanuc, Mazak, and controls is a plus.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts that meet dimensional and surface finish specifications.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining instructions and required tolerances.

Edit, verify, and optimize G-Code programs for efficient and accurate machining; make in-process program adjustments as needed.

Troubleshoot mechanical, tooling, and program-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production output.

Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on machines; report and coordinate repairs with maintenance or engineering teams.

Collaborate with production planners, quality, and engineering to improve processes, reduce cycle time, and implement corrective actions.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certificate in CNC machining or manufacturing technology preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines.

Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and using precision measurement tools to verify part conformance.

General ability to read, write, and edit G-Code; comfortable making in-process program changes and troubleshooting code-related issues.

Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazak controls and the ability to navigate and adjust parameters on these platforms is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work flexible shifts and perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and precision manual work.
