to work in a non-union machining environment in Washington, PA.

Pay:

Up to $35/hr depending on experience. Must be available to work a swing shift - rotating days and afternoons every other week, plus every other Saturday on the day shift. Must pass a drug test and background check. In this position you will set up and operate CNC machines and also perform manual machining. Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Properly select, align, and secure work holding. Must be able to improvise setups using common tooling such as risers, angle plates, etc. Monitor and/or develop speed, feed, depth or angle of cut during machining operations. Must observe machine operation to predict or detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining conditions and adjust machine controls or control media as required. Verify that all machined details are produced in a manner that meets print or router specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Request first piece inspection when producing multiple piece runs. Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area on a daily basis. Requirements Training from trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship is a plus. Specialized experience with particular materials, products, precision level, machining process or size, type, or trade name of machine. CNC and manual machining experience, Vertical and Horizontal Lathe is needed Machining knowledge, shop math, precision measuring instruments, and blueprint reading.
