Precision machine component manufacturer is looking for an exceptional CNC Turning Machinist who is: An effective communicator with a dedicated work ethic A safe worker who follows all shop guidelines and supervisor requests Punctual to shift requirements Able to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot Swiss-type turning machines (such as STAR or Tornos DECO) with minimal supervision Able to set up and operate manual & automatic bar feeders Able to operate several machines over the course of a day Able to read and understand Blueprints/CAD drawings, as well as Engineering Design and Quality Control documents Knowledgeable in the use of standard measuring equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and ring/plug gauges Able to complete quality inspection reports including First Piece, In-Process and Final Inspections and proactively communicate any non-conformance Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on previous experience. This position requires a High School Diploma/GED. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience setting up and operating CNC turning machines.
