AB_4995040 Randstad is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a production team in the Providence Area. The candidate will support from CAD/CAM programming through machine setup and first-article inspection. The ideal candidate will have a high level of machining knowledge, CAM programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC processes. If you are an highly skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience, then this is an opportunity for you! This is a Permanent Placement Position!
Pay Rate:
$30.00

00/hour (by level of skill/experience)
Hours:
Monday through Friday
  • 7:00AM
  • 3:30PM (1st shift)
  • 11:00AM
  • 9:00PM (Swing/Overlap Shift) ( Must be able to work both shifts when needed; the days may vary based on business need)

  • $67,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM
  • 4:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Machine Setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes Change out Tooling per job setup Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software Edit and troubleshoot G-code at the machine Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements Select tooling, speeds & feeds for various materials Perform first-article inspections using preceision measuring devices Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar software Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Understanding of geometry, dimensioning, and tolerancing The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes standing for 6 hours at one time Skills CNC machine set up (4 years of experience is required) Blueprint Reading Mill Lathe precision measuring tools Quality Inspections materials and tolerances CAD/CAM MasterCam SolidWorks Qualifications Years of experience: 4 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
