This Direct-Hire opportunity puts you at the center of precision, one-off machining work on some of the most advanced equipment in the industry. You'll take ownership of complex setups, tight-tolerance projects, and large-format machining on machines like Nicholas Correa bridge mills and Okuma MacTurn multitasking centers. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot machining challenges including chatter, vibration, thermal growth, and dimensional variation to keep complex jobs running smoothly
- Perform precise first article inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, calipers, and other high-accuracy measurement tools
- Plan and select tooling, fixtures, workholding, and machining sequences for one-off, prototype, and low-volume components
- Set up and run large-format CNC machining centers such as Nicholas Correa Fenix, Nicholas Correa Norma, and the Okuma MacTurn 550
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, GD&T, and G-code while making accurate program adjustments as needed
- Support machining strategy and manufacturability by maintaining machine condition through consistent preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment that reflects high standards of precision machining Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM during the summer and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM during the winter. Pay rate is $35.00

- Skilled in interpreting detailed engineering documentation including CAD models, blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
- Proven ability to run full CNC setups independently and make accurate G-code adjustments when needed
- Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and resolve issues in tight-tolerance, large-format machining
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls, with added value for machining large weldments or complex machine components
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment, demonstrating consistent hands-on capability
