You will be instrumental in managing daily machining tasks, promoting a culture of teamwork, and upholding our high standards for output quality. Core Duties Guide and coach CNC personnel to ensure production targets are met and quality benchmarks are upheld. Manage the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment to help maximize shop floor productivity. Analyze technical blueprints and design specifications to manufacture components that satisfy client needs. Perform routine quality checks on completed items to help maintain our high standards for product excellence. Enforce established safety procedures and routine equipment maintenance schedules. Work alongside production and engineering staff to help optimize manufacturing workflows and efficiency. Provide training for incoming staff regarding machine operation and safety guidelines. Support material procurement and inventory tracking tasks as required. Required Skills and Experience Completion of high school or GED; a technical certification or degree in machining is highly valued. Demonstrated history as a CNC machinist, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Comprehensive understanding of CNC operation and programming, specifically G-code and M-code. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Strong analytical abilities and a meticulous approach to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities to foster a productive team environment. Working knowledge of standard quality control methodologies and instrumentation. Capability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining performance in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
