Your Mission:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and adjusting CNC machine tools to perform standard and repetitive machining operations. This role works to ensure parts are machined accurately to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Explore the Depth of the
Role:
Operate and adjust CNC machines (mills, lathes, or machining centers) to perform assigned machining tasks. Follow written and verbal instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures. Load and unload parts, verify dimensions using precision measuring tools, and perform basic part inspections. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and notify supervisor as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to all safety and quality procedures. Assist in basic machine setup and tool changes under supervision. Record production data and complete required documentation accurately. Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Mission Readiness:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a machining or manufacturing environment preferred. Technical training in CNC machining or related field desirable. Basic knowledge of machining processes including drilling, boring, milling, and turning. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and part specifications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and part specifications. Understanding of cutting tools, materials, and feeds/speeds concepts. Basic computer and CNC control interface skills. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. CNC operation or machining certificate preferred but not required. Forklift certification a plus.

Minimal Physical Requirements:
May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. May lift or carry 50lbs.
