Summary:

Perform machine setup, machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and composite lay-up tasks. Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, power plants, drive trains, and perform soldering on avionics. Install wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepare test articles and devices for data collection and testing. Conduct basic chemical conversion, paint prep, and apply coatings for corrosion protection. Work on limited-complexity items per established drawings and requirements.

Required Skills:

Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or aviation. Proficiency with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets) and high-impact vibratory tools. 6+ months of experience with pneumatic/hydraulic equipment and computer software for reading technical instructions. Ability to handle high-hazard chemicals. Experience with material layup, CNC operations, crane operations, and precision measuring. Skilled in interpreting aviation drawings, specs, schematics, and diagrams.
