Job Description

Overview Are you looking for a machining position where you know the people you work with, your experience is respected, and the quality of your work makes a visible difference? M&E Products is a close-knit precision manufacturing company in Simpsonville, South Carolina. We offer the hands-on environment of a smaller shop, where team members work together, communicate directly, and have the opportunity to contribute ideas that improve the way we operate. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts and wants to be an important part of the team. This position is well suited for someone who values craftsmanship, reliability, teamwork, and the satisfaction of seeing their individual contribution matter. Operating under an
ISO 9001
quality system, M&E Products manufactures precision components for customers across multiple industries. The right candidate will be able to set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines, interpret drawings, make appropriate machine adjustments, and take ownership of quality throughout each production run. If you enjoy solving machining challenges, sharing practical ideas, and working with people who care about doing the job correctly, we would like to meet you. Requirements At least three years of CNC lathe and/or milling experience preferred. Demonstrated experience setting up CNC equipment, rather than only loading and operating parts. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, dimensions, and tolerances. Ability to perform the mathematical calculations required for precision machining. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection tools. Ability to establish offsets and make adjustments at the machine control. Experience editing or modifying existing CNC programs at the control is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a consistent quality-first mindset. Good mechanical aptitude, judgment, reliability, and problem-solving ability. Willingness to communicate, contribute ideas, and work collaboratively as part of a team. High school diploma or GED with verifiable machining experience. Why Join M&E Products Work for a quality-focused precision manufacturer operating under an
ISO 9001
quality system. Become part of a close-knit and supportive manufacturing team. Contribute ideas and make a visible impact on tooling, setups, processes, and workflow. Receive health, dental, and vision insurance. Participate in company bonus opportunities. Join a workplace where craftsmanship, reliability, and continuous improvement are valued. Apply through Indeed with a current resume or a summary of your CNC machining experience. Please include the types of lathes or mills you have operated, your machine setup experience, your experience making offsets or editing programs, and the inspection tools you are comfortable using. M&E Products provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees without regard to legally protected characteristics.
