Monday-Thursday | Four 10-hour shifts CNC Machinist Job Summary We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity in Brandon, SD. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality precision components. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Setup Machinist who wants a four-day workweek and flexibility in selecting a consistent second-shift schedule. Flexible Second-Shift Schedule Employees work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday. You may select a consistent schedule that works for you within the second-shift operation.

Current schedules include:

3:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. Once selected, employees are expected to maintain the same schedule. CNC Machinist Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes Manufacture precision components according to production specifications Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Select appropriate tooling and make necessary machine adjustments Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize CNC operations Maintain production, quality, and workplace safety standards Produce accurate, consistent parts within established tolerances CNC Machinist Qualifications At least five years of combined CNC machining experience, or an equivalent combination of machining experience and technical education Previous CNC machine setup experience is required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and quality control Ability to troubleshoot and improve machining operations CNC programming experience is preferred but not required Ability to successfully complete a required drug screening CNC Equipment The machine shop includes: Three vertical CNC mills Three horizontal CNC mills Eleven CNC lathes with live tooling and sub-spindles Two automatic saws One light-production MIG welding cell

Machine Capacities CNC Milling:

Up to 20" x 40" x 16"

CNC Turning:

Up to 14" in diameter x 28" in length IND2

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
