Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, technical drawings, and safety standards, ensuring efficient production while maintaining precision and quality. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety and excellence in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses to produce components according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up machines accurately. Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Follow safety standards and protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine settings, and inspection results. Assist with tooling setup, changeovers, and basic fabrication tasks as required. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications through inspection and testing. Handle materials safely using appropriate warehouse handling techniques and tools such as forklifts when necessary. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and process efficiency. Experience Proven experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment such as CNC machining centers, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a factory or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks is preferred. Experience with programming CNC machines including CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming is advantageous. Knowledge of shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and precision measurement techniques. Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently and perform basic maintenance tasks. Prior experience in materials handling, tooling setup, assembly line operations, or packaging is beneficial. Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in production environments along with the use of hand tools and basic math skills necessary for machining tasks.
