Job Summary Orison Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and efficiency of our machining operations, and contributing to the overall success of our production goals. Pay will be based on experience and qualifications. Duties Setup tooling and prove out programs on machines Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Conduct inspections using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Collaborate to troubleshoot issues. Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes, setups, and production runs inside of ProShop ERP software. Qualifications 5+ years of experience Knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, and EDM operations. Familiarity with prints containing GD&T. Ability to read and interpret drawings effectively. Strong mathematical skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. This position requires a proactive and analytical individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
