Overview:

The CNC Machinist, Mill-Level 0 (Trainee) is an entry level/trainee position. As a "Trainee" you will work under complete supervision. You will provide assistance, learn to manually operate various machines, in process inspections, and the importance of safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

(include but not limited to): Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following: Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Select appropriate tools and materials used in production per set up. Learn to properly set up a lathe machine. Learn to safely and properly operate a lathe or turning machine. Calculate dimensions of work pieces, products, or equipment. Properly dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. Perform other jobs or functions assigned by manager/supervisor.
