ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSSet up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC mills to produce precision-machined components. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations. Enter and adjust machine offsets, speeds, feeds, and other operating parameters. Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues. Complete production and inspection documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum of five years of CNC machining experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills. Minimum of two years of experience using
HAAS CNC
controls. Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional tolerances. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and consistently produce accurate, high-quality components. Must be available to work five days per week and Saturdays as needed based on production workload. #psbrenham
