Manual Machinist•1st & 2nd
Shift Available Schedule:
1st
Shift:
7:00 AM•3:00 PM 2nd
Shift:
3:00 PM•11:00 PM We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting up a variety of industrial machines while producing high-quality, precision parts.
Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of machines, including boring mills, drill presses, and milling machines Perform machining, hand, and bench operations Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Use basic mathematical calculations to complete machining tasks accurately Work from sketches and verbal instructions as needed Set up machines independently and adjust equipment for production needs Design and fabricate special adapters, fixtures, or tooling when required Use and calibrate handheld measuring tools, including measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers Maintain accuracy, quality standards, and safety throughout all machining processes
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Manual Machinist, General Machinist, or similar role Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand numerical measurements Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with precision measuring tools Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining processes Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing quality work Call or visit us Monday•Friday | 8am-5pm Send your resume: paola.ruiz@expresspros.com
