Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM , with overtime as needed

Cedar Park, Texas Temporary 3-month assignment (no opportunity for permanent hire) Weekly pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision, and medical insurance as well as 401(k), direct deposit, and our referral bonus program Job Description We are seeking an experienced Lathe Machinist to safely set up and operate CNC lathes in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires strong machining knowledge, attention to quality, and the ability to independently perform multiple machine setups throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have previous CNC lathe experience, with Mazak experience preferred, and be committed to producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce quality parts according to specifications Perform setup changes, first article inspections, and make offset or simple program adjustments as needed Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy Inspect finished parts, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain a clean, organized work area Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental policies while supporting production goals
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 3 years of CNC lathe machining experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers Previous Mazak experience preferred; ROMI and multi-axis CNC lathe experience is a plus Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and work overtime as needed
