We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. This is not a repetitive production machining role. As a job shop, you'll own the entire machining process—from programming and setup to final inspection—while working on a variety of custom components that directly contribute to industry-leading products. What You'll Do As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be responsible for taking parts from print to finished product while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your responsibilities include:
Program parts using Fusion 360 (or similar CAM software) for Haas CNC lathes and Haas CNC mills. Create setup sheets and prove out new programs. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Haas CNC equipment. Read and edit G-code as required. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications. Machine parts from raw material through final inspection. Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Document programs and maintain organized part files. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues while recommending process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Additional Shop Responsibilities As a member of our manufacturing team, you'll also assist with: Material preparation and sawing. Deburring and finishing machined components. Routine machine maintenance. Chip removal and general shop housekeeping. Supporting other shop operations as needed. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Required Qualifications 3-10 years of CNC programming and machining experience. Experience programming with Fusion 360 or similar CAM software. Experience programming and operating both Haas CNC lathes (2-axis) and Haas CNC mills (3-axis) . Ability to read and understand G-code. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and setups. Experience using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Ability to independently take a part from programming through final inspection. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Personal machinist toolbox. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

$26.00
•$32.00 per hour
