Job Description

At Hilti, our manufacturing team keeps everything moving. The CNC Fabrication Machinist supports the day-to-day operations in Hilti's Engineering Service Center (ESC) with the manufacturing and assembly of standard and custom customer orders. Duties include set up and operating horizontal bandsaw and industrial equipment to cut threaded rod, strut and other materials to customer and internal quality specifications. The machine operator performs required quality and maintenance checks and minor/routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed. Assists with assembly and prefabrication of product for customer orders. This role has a working understanding of all internal production processes and trains new team members as needed. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED, required. Two (2) to three (3) years of CNC experience, preferred. Ability to perform basic arithmetic, read and convert between decimals and fractions, and use basic calculator. Strong mechanical aptitude, required. Forklift certification required (will provide training once hired, if needed). Basic computer skills required; SAP experience, preferred.
