We are a full capability, growing machine shop looking for qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience setting up and running 5 axis or Swiss machines. We operate brand new vertical and 5-axis mills and a variety of other multi-axis CNC equipment (primarily Haas and Fanuc controllers). Experience must include 5 axis or Swiss lathe set-up, checking equipment for proper operation, safety and/or needed maintenance, and performing visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mill or Swiss lathes, ensuring accurate alignment, tool selection, and workpiece fixturing for complex parts. Read blueprints, GD&T, and inspection plans; perform dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools as required. Maintain machine health through routine checks, preventive maintenance, and prompt adjustment of offsets and zero references. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to develop new products, resolve manufacturing issues and implement process improvements.
