At Texas Hydraulics, we manufacture custom hydraulic cylinders and components used in demanding industries including construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, utilities, and defense. Our products are built to perform in tough environments, and that starts with the people who make them.

We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality, and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Whether you already have manufacturing experience or are looking to grow your skills in a machine shop environment, this position offers an opportunity to learn, develop, and advance. What You'll DoSet up and operate manufacturing equipment including grinders, saws, and other production machinesRead blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications to understand production requirementsMeasure and mark materials to prepare parts for productionSelect and install tooling, fixtures, and materials required for assigned workMonitor machine performance and make routine adjustments to maintain quality standardsInspect finished parts and verify conformance to specificationsPerform setup verification as requiredTroubleshoot routine production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors and team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality requirementsSupport team goals and assist with other duties as assigned What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferredMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to read and follow work instructions, operating procedures, and safety requirementsBasic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimalsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDependable attendance and positive teamworkManufacturing experience is helpful but not required Career Growth OpportunityMany of our machinists started as machine operators. This position provides an opportunity to learn machining fundamentals, blueprint reading, inspection techniques, and production processes while building the skills needed for future advancement within Texas Hydraulics. Work EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, vibration, noise, fumes, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and industrial materials. Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed safety shoes. Physical RequirementsEmployees regularly stand, walk, reach, lift, carry, and handle materials throughout the shift. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Why Texas Hydraulics?
