In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain a variety of machining equipment to produce precision metal and plastic components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical measurement will ensure that parts meet strict quality standards and specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while honing your technical skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC milling machines using Fanuc or similar controls. Program CNC equipment utilizing G-code, M-code, CAM software, and CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks and other CAD programs. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise components. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments to ensure quality control. Perform machine calibration, tooling changes, and adjustments to optimize machining accuracy and efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to machine operation, power tools, and material handling. Troubleshoot machining issues, perform basic repairs or adjustments on equipment, and document production activities accurately. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machines in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of machining tools including grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup. Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings with GD&T standards. Familiarity with CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc controls is preferred. Experience with measurement techniques using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision measurement instruments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and metal or plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Ability to perform manual machining tasks such as turning on lathes or milling on manual machines when necessary. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feed rates, speeds, and other machining parameters. Join our team if you're passionate about precision manufacturing! Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
