Come machine something different. Prime Machine is a custom job shop — NOT a production shop. We machine everything from small precision components to large, complex metal parts supporting aerospace, defense, mining, energy, and heavy industrial customers. We are looking for CNC Machinists — not just machine operators. If you know how to set up a machine, read a print, make program adjustments, and figure out how to make the part, we want to talk to you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Set up and operate 3

• 4• and 5-axis CNC machines Machine primarily metal components in a true job-shop environment Read blueprints and have working knowledge of GD&T Perform CNC programming and program edits Determine setups, tooling, speeds, and feeds Inspect your own work and hold required tolerances Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues Complete required inspection and job documentation Mastercam experience is a plus Our CNC Machinists are expected to continually develop their skills in machining practices, print reading, CNC programming, geometric tolerances, and machine setups.

Machinists also plan their assigned work and determine tooling and setup requirements.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't have to know every machine in our shop, but you need to be a machinist—not just a button pusher. CNC machining experience Experience with 3

• 4• and/or 5-axis machines CNC setup experience CNC programming/program-editing knowledge Ability to read and understand blueprints Working knowledge of GD&T Knowledge of inspection procedures and precision measuring Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and solve problems 3-5 years of experience required for weekend 5-axis positions Mastercam experience preferred Prime's CNC Machinist profile specifically identifies CNC/manual machining experience, Mastercam, understanding of shop drawings and machining symbols, and knowledge of inspection procedures as desired competencies.

CNC Machinist

• 3, 4 & 5 Axis Prime Machine is looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our custom job shop in Salt Lake City. This is not repetitive production machining—you'll work with a variety of metal parts, setups, and challenging projects. Candidates should have experience with 3
• 4• and/or 5-axis CNC machines, setups, blueprint reading, basic GD&T, and CNC programming/program edits.

Mastercam experience is a plus. Multiple schedules are available, including Days, Swings, and 3-day/12-hour shifts. Traditional Swing shift receives an additional $4.00/hour differential. Weekend positions are available on 5-axis machines and require 3-5 years of experience.
