Duties:
  • Set up and operate a variety of power tools and machinery to machine, modify, or repair parts for manufacturing processes using mills, lathes
  • Assemble and machine components according to engineering specifications.
  • Use bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions of machined parts.
  • Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Knowledge of proto trak controls is preferred.
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Skills:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Experience with tooling and tool maintenance is highly desirable.
