Position Description You will serve as a Machinist in the Oceana Production Branch of
FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will set up and perform work on machines such as five axis coordinate measuring machines, water jet blasting, and cutting machines, grinders, milling machines, lathes, and drills. You will use a variety of machine tool attachments and related equipment to perform precision machine work. You will maintain accuracy in accordance with requirements of blueprints, drawings, sketches, work documents, aircraft technical documents, manuals, bulletins and directives, and/or requests from a Machinist Supervisor. You will select the best machine to perform the job, cutting tools, abrasives, machine speeds and feeds, and performs the job in the proper sequence of operations for each work request You will set up and operate 2,3,4, and 5 Axis Machining Centers, Electrical Discharge Machines, Electron Beam Welders, Electrolytic Chemical Grinders, and CNC Grinders. Minimum Salary 37.75 Maximum Salary 44.06
