We're looking for a skilled machinist with CNC lathe setup experience, strong blueprint reading abilities, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision aerospace components.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and multi-axis CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Maintain tight tolerances while producing precision aerospace components.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform machine edits, tooling adjustments, deburring, and basic toolmaking as needed.
• Bore jaws on a 3-jaw chuck and complete daily machine setups.
• Utilize Fanuc controls and apply M & G code knowledge.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Communicate process improvements and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications & Skills
• 3+ years of CNC Lathe setup and operation experience.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC lathes and Fanuc controls.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to hold tolerances as tight as ±0.0001".
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
• Understanding of machining mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Boeing BAC specifications and plating tolerances is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical machining training preferred.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
