CNC Machinist Richland, WA (Onsite) System One | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Contract-to-Hire System One is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team in Richland, WA. This is an outstanding contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to build a long-term career with a global leader in the nuclear energy industry. $32-$45 an hour based upon experience Why You'll Love This Opportunity Contract-to-Hire with long-term career potential Full-time, 40 hours per week Holiday Pay Sixth Month Bonus Opportunity to support the commercial nuclear industry Occasional travel to nuclear sites Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and conventional lathes, mills, grinders, heat treat furnaces, and saw equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, solid models, blueprints, and specifications to manufacture high-precision components. Support fabrication of components used in nuclear fuel assemblies. Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and precision machining. Maintain quality documentation and inspection records. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist other manufacturing areas as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of CNC machining or related experience . Machine Technology Certificate preferred. Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T. Strong mechanical aptitude and precision machining skills. Experience with shop inspection tools and quality measurements. Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing processes is a plus. Excellent communication, dependability, and attention to detail. Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and work in a manufacturing environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
