Our client specializes in producing high-quality components using advanced machining techniques. This on-site contract role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced machinists to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision and quality.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring compliance with specifications for complex production runs. Design and install custom fixtures to facilitate specialized machining tasks. Write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code or CAM software to optimize performance. Conduct detailed inspections of parts to verify they meet dimensional and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and document machine performance and repairs.

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of CNC machine operation and programming experience. Strong knowledge of G-code, CAM software, and reading technical drawings with GD&T. Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret blueprints. Ability to design fixtures and optimize machining processes. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
