Location:
Sumner, WA Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour. DOE ~SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE!
Shift:
Days SmartHire is hiring CNC Machinists for a growing manufacturing client in Sumner, WA. We're looking for dependable individuals with CNC machining experience who are eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career. Whether you're already setting up CNC machines or have a few years of operating experience and want to expand your skills, we'd love to hear from you. Our client is willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, great attitude, and reliable attendance. What You'll Do- Operate CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
- Perform machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes (experience preferred but not required).
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Deburr and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate production documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist wherever needed in the machine shop and continue developing your machining skills. What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or machine shop environment preferred.
- Experience operating CNC Mills and/or Lathes.
- Setup experience is a plus, but not required—training is available for the right candidate.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
