Job Description

PrideStaff is partnering with a highly stable, 60-year industry leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing to find a dedicated CNC Mill Machinist. This is a hands-on opportunity to drive production quality and efficiency on complex machined components while growing alongside a company securing exciting long-term contracts.
The Role Setup & Machining:
Independently set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC Mills, as well as manual milling equipment.
Process Ownership:
Manage daily machine operations to ensure peak efficiency, accuracy, and consistent output of high-quality parts.
Quality Control:
Perform rigorous in-process inspections utilizing precision measuring tools, and collaborate with the CNC Lead to troubleshoot and refine processes.
Tooling & Documentation:
Organize proper fixturing and tooling for incoming work orders and meticulously update all set-up sheets.
Team Collaboration:
Maintain seamless communication with programming, tooling, scheduling, and department leadership to keep production flowing smoothly.
What You Bring Experience:
Minimum 3 years of overall machine shop experience, including 3+ years dedicated strictly to CNC Mill setup and machining.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency with precision measuring tools and complex multi-axis mill setups. Basic MasterCAM programming knowledge is a major plus.
Core Attributes:
Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive team-player mindset, and a reliable track record of attendance and time management.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Must be a US Citizen.
Compensation & Perks Competitive Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00+ per hour (DOE), with regular performance and merit-based evaluations.
