is partnering with a market-leading industrial engineering and electromechanical services company to recruit an experienced Manual Machinist for their facility in Tukwila, WA . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys precision work, solving mechanical challenges, and working on critical industrial equipment. The Role Working within a busy repair facility, you'll machine, repair and rebuild a variety of industrial rotating equipment while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating manual engine lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and other conventional machine tools Machining and fabricating precision components to engineering drawings Producing accurate drawings for fabricated parts when required Diagnosing, disassembling, repairing and rebuilding industrial electric motors, generators, gearboxes, pumps and related rotating equipment Taking precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and vibration measurement equipment Measuring shaft run-out, mechanical fits and clearances Safely operating overhead cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts and lifting equipment Using electrical testing equipment including multimeters, meggers and resistance testing instruments Maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment Participating in daily production and repair planning meetings What We're Looking For 3+ years' experience as a Manual Machinist Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines Ability to machine to tolerances of ±0.001" Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment including micrometers and dial indicators Experience within motor repair, machine shop, tool & die, rotating equipment or oil & gas environments is highly desirable Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage Experience with AC/DC motors or rotating equipment is preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work overtime and weekends when required What's on Offer $28.50-$37.50 per hour 401(k) with employer match Performance bonus opportunities Medical, Dental & Vision insurance Paid Time Off Tuition reimbursement Employee Assistance Programme Long-term career progression Stable, growing organisation serving critical industries If you're an experienced Manual Machinist looking to join a respected organisation where your skills will be valued and developed, we'd love to hear from you.
