What You'll Do As a Machinist, you'll learn to set up, operate, and monitor precision CNC machining equipment used to manufacture critical aerospace components and forged products. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a safety-focused environment while developing skills that will support a lifelong career in advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
Operate CNC machining equipment following established work instructions Read blueprints, work instructions, and measurement specifications Perform basic measurements using precision measuring tools Load and unload materials while monitoring machine performance Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Troubleshoot basic machining issues and communicate production concerns Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality goals Continuously develop machining knowledge and technical skills through ATI training programs Who You Are You're someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys solving problems, and likes working with your hands.
