The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of machinery and tools, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is for a 2nd shift position. 2nd shift premium offered. Pay is based on experience. Send resumes to Responsibilities Operate CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal mills, to produce precision parts according to specifications. Utilize Haas controls for operation of CNC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications. Use Mastercam to ensure efficient machining processes. Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Safely operate forklifts for material handling when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating lathes, mills, and other machining equipment. Familiarity with CAM programming software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles. Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers effectively. Experience with power tools and general machining practices. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
