Classic Machining is a leading full-service machine shop in Kaukauna with a wide variety of capabilities. The Company's products are used in a number of industries and applications sold worldwide. Classic operates from a modern facility in Kaukauna, WI where the Company employs 41 people.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
A key Team Member to work with a group of machinist striving to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Savings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Program, setup and run a CNC Machine to manufacture parts according to customer specs. Study blueprints to plan most effective and efficient way to manufacture. Operate machine to produce consistent quality parts to specs in the time frame allowed. Use measuring equipment to inspect parts for quality. Including 1 st piece inspection. Support problem solving small group activities. Willingness to work overtime to complete jobs for on time delivery. Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring new opportunities to add value to job. 3-5 Years of machining experience Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings. Must possess strong math, problem solving and communication skills. Attention to detail.
