POSITION SUMMARY

Operate CNC machines. Load metal bars in machines, cycle machines, measure parts, and detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Oil-Rite, LLC has been around since 1933, manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment in a clean and organized facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Create components from steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel on CNC and similar machinery.
• Consult blueprints and set-up sheets to prepare the machine to run a specific part.
• Use a caliper, ring gauge and similar measuring equipment to verify dimensions.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Plant Manager or designee.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, CNC lathe, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding.
• Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).
• Suggest improvements that could contribute to better machined parts or efficiency.
• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Pay:

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
