Job Description

CNC Lathe & CNC Vertical Machinist - 2nd & Weekend Shifts Join a team where precision meets innovation! Innovative Machining, LLC specializes in high‑precision components for a wide range of industries using advanced CNC technology and automation. We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to support our growing, high‑mix manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform complete CNC setups and operations on CNC lathes or CNC vertical machining centers Edit and modify CNC programs at the machine (Mazatrol / G & M code) to maintain quality and efficiency Verify setups, tooling, and offsets prior to and during production runs Interpret and work from blueprints, setup sheets, and routings Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.) Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, or part quality Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and throughput Experience / Skill Requirements 1-3+ years of CNC machining experience in a metal manufacturing environment Proven ability to manage setups independently Experience editing CNC programs at the machine Strong blueprint reading and GD&T comprehension Proficiency with precision inspection tools Knowledge of Mazatrol and/or G & M code programming preferred Experience with automated systems (Palletech/FMS) a plus Shift Options 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Wednesday, 3:00 pm-3:00 am (3/12s)
Weekend Shift:
Friday-Sunday, 5:00 am-5:00 pm (3/12s)
Training:
All 2nd and Weekend shift hires train on 1st Shift for 4-6 weeks.
Compensation & Perks Pay Range:
$26.00 - $34.00/hr (based on experience)
Shift Premium:
$1.50/hr for 2nd & Weekend shifts ( shift premium is paid while you train )
Schedule Advantage:
