CNC Machinist-1st Shift Join the Team at Venture Machine & Tool, Inc.! Venture Machine & Tool is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Onalaska, Wisconsin . We are a precision manufacturing company specializing in custom tooling, machining, and metal stamping for industry-leading customers. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets. Make program and offset adjustments as needed to maintain quality. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with engineering and production personnel to meet quality and delivery requirements. Qualifications Previous 2D & 3D CNC machining experience required. Cam programming (Surfcam/Powermill) knowledge is a plus Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
