10/06/2026 Job Description Job Description Elite Industrial is an industrial electric motor repair, rebuild, and field service company in Gillette, WY. Our machine shop is 100% manual: lathes, mills, grinders, and boring work. Every job is different. No production runs. Real repair work that keeps mines, plants, and oilfield operations running.

What You'll Do:

Repair and build motor and pump shafts from bar stock, including turning journals, cutting keyways, and threading Machine bearing fits to tight tolerances (tenths, not thousandths) Sleeve and re-bore bearing housings and end bells Make one-off replacement parts from worn samples, sketches, or prints Work with our winders, mechanics, and field techs to get customer equipment back in service fast Maintain your machines and follow all shop safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of manual lathe and mill experience. You can set up and run a job without a program. Comfortable holding tight tolerances with mics, bore gauges, and indicators Repair or maintenance machining background is a big plus (motor shop, mine shop, rebuild shop)
