What You'll Do As a Manual Machinist , you'll set up and operate conventional machining equipment to manufacture and repair precision metal parts while maintaining strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities ✅ Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment ✅ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions ✅ Measure, inspect, and verify completed parts using precision measuring tools including: Micrometers Calipers Gauges ✅ Select the correct cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials ✅ Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet exact specifications ✅ Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting ✅ Deburr, polish, and finish parts as needed ✅ Follow all workplace safety procedures ✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area What We're Looking For 🔹 Previous experience operating manual machining equipment is required 🔹 Strong understanding of machining principles and shop mathematics 🔹 Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 🔹 Experience with precision measurement tools and maintaining close tolerances 🔹 Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 🔹 Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing quality work 🔹 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects 🔹 Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Why Join Our Team? ✔
