Job Description

Summary/Objective The Assembly Engineer's job possesses a need for paying strict attention to detail and clear understanding of the Assembly processes. The Assembly Engineer will be responsible for many different functions including performing root cause analysis of issues, troubleshoot problems, training technicians, and assisting other Assembly employees as needed. Essential Functions Establish, monitor and improve Assembly process, troubleshooting Assembly problems. Develop process benchmark standards and standard operation procedures. Perform root-cause analysis on Assembly related issues. Provide planning and direction for Assembly equipment maintenance. Supplier development activities. Participate in improvement and development activities. Developing training and mentoring Assembly technician staff and assisting other Assembly employees as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Competencies Strong engineering knowledge Strong mindset for leading the task project Skill in Training and Quality System processes (FMEA, SOS, JES, plaining 4M develop …) Ability to interact well with other Departments Must possess good interpersonal skills- Excellent problem solving required
- Ability to analyze ROI (Return to Investment )
- Ability to plan & lead Project Teams
- Ability to use MS Office, CAD software and can learn the other Programs
- Ability to stand, bend and walk for periods of 8 hours
- Ability to make mockup sample
- Ability to read and speak English and Korean
- Must be available for weekend work when necessary
- Travel when needed Supervisory Responsibility Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, heat and cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
